You can learn a lot from other people: through books, blogs, chats, any form of communication really. But there is no substitute for getting your hands dirty, rolling up your sleeves, dipping your toes, etc. Get the point? Start doing things, figuring out what works for you, iterate and repeat. Why do you think we learn so much once we get out of school?

I’ve been stepping in a lot of do lately. I’m executing more and more. I’m looking at execution as the deciding factor in what makes one successful. Sure we can plan, but if we don’t do, we’re just thinking.
